Survey launched by Westfield Together asking citizens “what matters to you?”

Westfield Together, the slate of Democratic candidates running in this November’s town elections for mayor and council, invite residents to participate in a brief online survey to identify the local issues that matter most to them.

Responses are due by Wednesday, May 24, 11:59 p.m. The survey will also be available on each candidate’s website and social media. Those who would like to participate via traditional mail may contact Janice Siegel at 908-789-3272.

“Westfield is known for its fantastic schools and beautiful neighborhoods, but it’s our people who are our greatest asset. They offer a wealth of talent and new ideas, and for too many years, they have gone unheard,” says Shelley Brindle, the mayoral candidate for Westfield. “We need to finally engage our residents to address the most pressing issues in Westfield, whether its store vacancies, potholes or lack of parking. Our first step is hearing from you. Only then can we learn what matters most. I’m eager to start listening, then get to work for you and our town!”

The candidates are:  Shelley Brindle for Mayor, Linda Habgood (Ward 1), Michael Dardia (Ward 2), David Contract (Ward 3), and Dawn Mackey (Ward 4). Survey results will be publicized as soon as available.
